6/17 – Brown Bag with Forestry: A Lunch Webinar Series on Current Forest Science Research; Dr. William Stewart, UC Berkeley – “A Carbon Calculator for Sustainable Forestry Operations.” The webinar will commence at 12:10 PM and run for 30 minutes, with 20 minutes available for a question and answer session, ending at 1:00 PM. 10/4 – ID of California Oaks workshop; UC ANRD Hopland Research & Extension Center; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Workshop reviews the diversity, distribution, and ecology of California oaks followed by an outing into the field to look at oaks in the interior North Coast Ranges.
